A Restorative “Rest-Shop” for Troubled Sleepers

This “Rest-Shop will combine quieting practices of the Sounder Sleep System™, Feldenkrais® and Restorative Yoga.  

We will explore gentle movements and breathing techniques that relax your body, calm your mind, and lull you to sleep. These simple techniques create a profound state of repose, which is the optimal condition for going to sleep, returning to sleep or decreasing stress. In practicing these techniques one learns to manage the internal response to daily stress, to fall asleep more easily at bedtime and return to sleep after nighttime awakenings.


Sitting Workshop
Comfortable, Agile Sitting While You Work

• Discover efficient, mobile posture for your work station.

• Cultivate healthy sitting habits that exercise your spine while sitting.

• Learn to prevent bodily tensions associated with prolonged sitting.

• Refresh your body, mind and vision using mini-movement moment breaks.

• And what is the best chair? It’s your own spine once you know how to organize yourself!

This sitting workshop will be offered in a two part series. Limited to 8 students.
